Local Solar PV Specialist

Solar photovoltaics (PV) capture the sun’s energy using photovoltaic cells and convert the sunlight into electricity, which can then be used to run appliances and power lighting. Solar systems using this technology are termed renewable energy systems.

Solar PV panels require only daylight, not necessarily sunlight, and are therefore capable of generating electricity even on cloudy days. Solar PV panels can be installed on a roof of a home or building that can support the equipment in order to maximise the amount of exposure to daylight and can easily be connected to a building’s electricity supply.

The generated electricity from the PV panels installed can be used by the owner to power their home. Where there is a surplus of power, this can be sold back to the UK Electricity Generating Grid as part of the Government’s Feed-In Tariff. To qualify your property must also have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) of Band D or better. Please view more information on the Feed In Tariff and EPC.

Solar PV

LC Energy specialises in Solar PV installations and we install Solar PV panels on the roof of a home or any other building that can support the equipment, connecting to the building’s electricity supply.

Feed-in Tariff

Electricity generated from PV panels installed can be used to power the owner’s home. Where there is a surplus of power, it can be sold back to the UK Electricity Generating Grid as part of the Government’s Feed-In Tariff.  Conditions apply.

MVHR Systems

Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) is a whole house ventilation system, circulating fresh air around your home significantly improving the living environment.

How do solar panels work? Solar PV panels require only daylight, not necessarily sunlight, and are therefore capable of generating electricity even on cloudy days. Solar PV panels come in a variety of materials, sizes and power generation features, therefore assessing the overall cost is difficult. Companies will quote very attractive generation and cash back estimates, however with L.C. Energy Solutions Ltd we will assess your requirements and budget and calculate the most economical package.
